Let's pull this apart: imagine Salesforce is a giant restaurant, and its Atlas Reasoning Engine is a brilliant chef. That chef can cook any dish, but the kitchen — the multi-tenant Apex runtime — only has two burners, and they cut off without warning. Every time the chef tries a five-step recipe, the burners shut down mid-recipe. That's why Agentforce fails 77% of the time. Each failed execution costs $1,005.83 to clean up by hand. Salesforce leaders keep asking customers what features they want. Customers know they want cheap, fast, and correct — but they can't fix the kitchen. The trap is analogical thinking: copying old CRM patterns instead of doing first principles math. Customers get surveyed only to prove the pain exists (using lightweight Value Calculators and Decision Autopsy Workshops), not to design the fix. The cure is structural, not cosmetic. Computational Removal: gut the manual floor-walking and stitching together live telemetry that reports on its own. Cognitive Elimination: encode senior know-how into the software so turnover doesn't drain the brain trust. Architecture Simplification: collapse three checkpoints at the doorway into one pass-through node, killing queues and reclaiming floor space.

That blend builds an un-rippable moat. Switching stacks would be an operational lobotomy — your accounting, audit, and incident flow all freeze. Each resolved job trains the global system, and the data flywheel keeps spinning, making it the only auditable receipt factory the regulated world trusts. Defensible because it's physical, not portable.
